In the family-friendly Zahmer Kaiser ski area, both beginners and leisure skiers can enjoy 15 kilometres of groomed pistes and 9 lifts between 698 and 1,009 metres above sea level. In Hochkössen ski area on Unterberg local mountain, you’ll find 22 pistes with snowmaking facilities between 650 and 1,750 metres above sea level. With the help of the gondola lift, you’ll get to the ski paradise in Kaiserwinkl comfortably and can spend fabulous skiing days on the “Actionhill”. Beginners will find perfect practice slopes and a ski school in the valley, while whizzes can dash down “the black” downhill run.

At Amberglift in Walchsee the little ones and beginners will get their money’s worth. On a 500-metre long groomed piste, Amberg Mountain is ideal for those first turns on skis. A T-bar lift as well as an 80-metre-long magic carpet make getting up the slope easy for beginners.

In about 30 - 40 minutes by car, you’ll get to the famous Streif in Kitzbühel or Steinplatte 3-country ski area in Waidring.
